| SALT LAKE CITY, March 17,2008--Lifetree Clinical Research has named
Cameron Benson, who holds a doctorate degree in pharmacy, as a clinical
research pharmacist. Benson received his doctorate from Midwestern
University, and graduated magna cum laude. He completed his
undergraduate work at Salt Lake Community College and the University of
Utah. Prior to joining Lifetree Clinical Research, he worked with the Arizona Pharmacy Alliance, where he helped pass several key legislative bills and provided continuing education to the state's pharmacists. He has also worked at Arizona State Hospital, where he educated psychiatric patients in the areas of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and healthy eating. Benson also has experience working with the cardiology staff at the Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. "By having Cameron on site, we have raised our pharmacy services to a higher level to meet our growing list of clients' needs," Lifetree Clinical Research CEO and Founder Alice Jackson said. She added, "We will have an ISO 4 (class 10) compounding aseptic isolator (C.A.I.), also referred to as a glove box, that meets the USP Chapter 797 and all other regulations. This will allow us to perform sterile compounding and I.V. admixtures in the following areas: TPN, antibiotics, pain management, ophthalmics, respiratory, intrathecals, diabetics and biotech. Cameron will broaden the scope of Lifetree pharmacy SOP's and enhance the quality initiatives for drug receipt, storage, dispensing and administration of investigational products.
