Lifetree Clinical Research and Pain Clinic® and its Medical Director Lynn R. Webster, M.D., were featured in a national news story on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008.
The story was part of a CBS News series addressing new treatments to managing serious pain. Webster is a national expert in pain and addiction medicine and has been the lead investigator for several abuse-deterrent research studies. In the story, Webster demonstrates how two of these emerging pain treatments being researched are formulated to treat chronic pain, while at the same time deter inappropriate drug use.
